#CircleLens – Geo Sakura Blue and Pink

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012

Design:
Enlarging:
Color:

I was always interested in trying out the Candy Jewels when I first got interested in circle lens, but the design and look of the Candy Jewels looked like fish eyes to me for some reason. When I heard Geo had their alternative to Candy Jewels I went ahead and ordered some. The color of the pink ones are a bit translucent, but it still gives a pink like color. The blue one I feel might end up being my favorite of these. Both give off a halo effect when eyes are positioned in a certain way. The enlargement on these are very noticable. These are 15mm lenses by the way. Overall I do like these design, better than the EoS one which are 14mm. It doesn’t give that fish eye look, although the pupil area is quite larger than the original Candy Jewels.

EoS Max Bubble Pink and Grey

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

As with my review for the EoS Max Bubble Blue these are pretty much the same thing only different colors. I do like the pink and grey ones of this series but its not as vibrant as the blue.  It’s also not the type of lens you want to wear everyday. More costumey than what I’m use to getting. Although the pink one makes you look like you have the pink eye disease, adn the grey ones seems to make your iris look smaller than normal. I love these series but then again I’m a bit turned off by them. It’s a love hate relationship.

Package from Kiwiberry1-Collection

Thursday, December 15th, 2011

I participated in Kiwiberry1-Collection Geo Preorder a couple of months ago and my lenses from that order came in today. I was so excited about these lenses because these were not listed on the site for purchased. When I heard about the pre-order and saw the selection of lenses I could purchase I jumped at the chance to get them. Especially the Geo Sakura series. These are like the EoS Candy Jewel series but made by Geo.

I’ve always liked Geo Lenses, and I rarely have any problems with them comfort wise. I’m actually happy to know that after the pre-order these lenses that I had purchased are now listed on Kiwiberry’s site. Mainly the Geo Princess Bambi’s, which came packaged in nice little box. Geo seems to be very fond of this brand because it’s modeled and endorsed by Tsubasa Masuwaka.

As you can see Geo authentication stickers all over the box. =)

The lenses are the Geo Princess Mimi, in Chocolate Brown, Green Apple, and Sesame Grey which I have currently open pairs of from Honey Color. Why did I get another pair of these lenses? Because I know I will wear these pairs out because these are my favorite pair of lenses at the moment, and I wear them every chance I get. So I have back up just in case the current pair tears or feel uncomfortable because of my excessive use of them.

So what is this post actually about? Well the shipping from Kiwiberry of course. I received an email saying that my pre order has been shipped out last week and yesterday I went to check the mail and there it was my package of lenses. So I can say that shipping is pretty quick depending on what your shipping requirements are. I’ve always had great experience with Kiwiberry and hope to continue to have great experiences with them in the future.

EoS Bubble Series. Blue

Tuesday, December 6th, 2011

Please don’t mind the bangs. Those are clipon bangs I had purchased a while back on ebay. Wanted to see what I would look like with bangs or fringe. However I didn’t like the result of how it looked like. Plus, I don’t have enough hair thickness to pull off the bang hair style.

On to the review. I was very interested in the Bubble Series when I found out about the a while back and went and purchased them from Kiwiberry as soon as they had it available. I purchased the super size one. As you can see the Bubble series looks a bit freaky and I don’t know what to think of it. I feel like I like it but I wouldn’t be able to wear it out and pull it off as casual. It is very vibrant and a one tone color and gives the effect it gives is a bit of a glow eye type effect. So I do like it, but probably good for themed parties or the such.

Enlargement is a plus and as comfort goes it’s and alright wear. I had no problems with it. I really don’t know what kind of recommendations I would give to you guys about these lenses since they seem more on the site of costume special effect lenses rather than casual, but they are bright and noticeable if that is what you are going for.

Princess Mimi (Bambi) Chocolate Brown

Tuesday, November 15th, 2011

This is actually the first Princess Mimi (Bambi) series lens I wore. Also purchased from HoneyColor.com. When I put these on my husband had stated to me that they look like Data’s eyes from Star Trek. Of course that was when I didn’t have any make up on. When I dabbled on some make up he said it looked better. These are the Chocolate Brown Princess Mimi’s and they are 15mm lenses. They do enlarge and they do have an opaque coloring to them with a bit of translucency. However my eyes being dark brown these are more of a reddish brown which I like alot, so it does make my eyes look much more brown than most hazel lenses. Yes these lens color are on the hazel side.

One of the lens looked dented in when I opened up it’s vial but it didn’t feel defective when I put it on. Not sure as to why it looks like that but it’s not hurting me at the moment.

Recommendation for dark eye enhancement color, and definite enlargement.
